Let’s rewind 5 years ago when my first son was just a few months old. I wanted a "professional " camera so I never missed a moment. I found myself using it for all of his birthdays, holidays, and even just around the house. Whenever I would look at the photos I had just taken, I was always so puzzled how they did not turn out the way I wanted nor was expecting. So, needless to say it was not as easy as I thought it was going to be and just because you buy a professional camera does NOT mean you’re going to get professional images . Who knew taking a picture was more than just pressing a button. The wonderful over-exposed and horribly focused pictures, then drove me into countless hours of digging into the internet and teaching myself the basics. Goodbye auto and goodbye bartending! Four cameras later and I still find myself learning something new EVERYDAY. I am a part of multiple photography groups, I have gained amazing photography friends ( btw, our community is the best ), and most importantly I have acquired so many new clients who have put their trust in me and have helped me to get where I am today. I should use the word client more lightly, cause you guys are so much more than just that. God has truly blessed me with this career and I could not be more grateful.

There aren't enough words to explain how amazing my experience was with Summer. As soon as I met Summer and found her photography page I knew she was going to take our pictures before I was even engaged because she has the most amazing personality and such wonderful skills. When my husband and I got engaged she was one of the first people I reached out to. We were both so nervous at first and even my husband said it felt so easy to take pictures with summer. She made us feel comfortable and confident. When we got those pictures back we fell so in love and just knew our wedding pictures would be even more flawless. All the way through wedding planning she was such a big help making things so much easier on my end with our wedding timeline and our must have pictures. The day of the wedding Summer went out of her way to make our day the best. When taking our pictures I didn’t feel rushed and felt so beautiful. She is someone I call a friend and the absolute best photographer I’ve ever had. Having her on the best day of my life was the best choice. I’m normally very picky with pictures and when I got our pictures back there was not one that I didn’t love. Every single one was my favorite. She captured the most amazing pictures that are full of memories that we will forever be able to look back on and for that we are so thankful. Anytime I want pictures done she will be our choice hands down. Not only because of the speechless/most beautiful pictures but because she is pure and genuine and makes us feel like the most beautiful couple ever and lets us be ourselves. When it came time for our officiant to sign out marriage license, I noticed the box for a witness. I looked up, saw Summer, and didn’t think twice. After all she did for us, she was the one I wanted on our marriage license. And once again, she didn’t bat an eye. Summer is so much more than a photographer to us. The photos are one of the biggest parts of a wedding – something you can look at time and time again to smile and reminisce.
